While I liked the Nissan GT-R, my comment in last week's review that "it doesn't surpass established leaders like the BMW 650i, Chevrolet Corvette ZO6 and Porsche 911 Carrera 4 S" didn't sit well with some readers.
Some readers said the Cadillac SRX turbo I praised in my review last week is nothing more than an overpriced Saturn Vue: "Sorry Mark, but at over $50,000 it still looks like a glorified Saturn Vue with a bit of chrome."
Many comments were posted on my review last week of the Ford Fusion. "Too bad this 'American' car is assembled in Mexico." "How about all the jobs in the design, product development, engineering, testing, launch support, etc. ... Most if not all of those jobs are in Dearborn."
Lots of readers, in response to my review of the diesel-powered BMW 335d and VW Jetta TDI, would like to see Americans consider owning diesels. "Hear hear for diesels ... and making Americans more aware of the choice they enjoy. Build a bridge over the old diesel memories and think of the new!"
