The Dodge Viper SRT10 will become the most desired by future car collectors from American new cars and trucks introduced in 2007, predicts the Friends of the National Automotive History Collection.

The fourth annual Automotive Authors Book Fair will take place at the Detroit Public Library's Skillman Branch on Saturday. The fair will feature 23 authors of automotive books at the Rose Skillman Hall of the Skillman Branch, the home of the National Automotive History Collection, to talk with the public and sell and sign books.

The National Automotive History Collection's third annual Automotive Authors Book Fair will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Nov. 22 at the Skillman branch of the Detroit Public Library. At least 20 authors of automotive history books will be present at the event on the second-floor auditorium of the branch, 121 Gratiot Ave., in downtown Detroit.

In an effort to promote the automotive rescue package being considered by Congress, the Detroit Regional Chamber has contacted dozens of other chambers in automotive communities around the nation and also enlisted its employees to contact friends and family members.
