Michigan would be hardest hit by a merger of General Motors Corp. and Chrysler, said the author of a report released Wednesday. The possibility of a General Motors Corp. and Chrysler merger resurfaced during the Detroit automakers' Senate hearings Thursday, with a suggestion that such a deal should be a condition of receiving federal aid.
