During a Friday visit to the Wayne Assembly Plant, where workers are cranking out hot-selling Ford Focus compact cars, Joe Hinrichs, Ford Motor Co.'s group vice president for global manufacturing, said the company would begin expanding buyouts to select factories in the next few months in the face of a worsening U.S. economy.
